Book Found With “New” Reference
Jose Mier here once again in Sun Valley California searching the world for others who bear my name. My latest success what’s the listing on Google books. After I found the listing on Google I found the link which took me to Google books and the reference to this particular Jose Mier.
The book is a record of laws enacted in 1870 Bolivia under the leadership of the provisional government at the time. From what I can tell this particular Jose Mier was a deputy secretary in the government at La Paz. Unfortunately this is only a reference to the name and position. I don’t know anything more about this particular Jose except that he lived during the period in question—the 1870s—and that he was part of the Bolivian government.
Even if I don’t find that much demographic or biographical information about a particular Jose Mier it’s still gratifying for me to find another Single reference to somebody who bears my name, especially in countries as far away as Bolivia. Of course this Jose is in quite stark contrast to previous Jose Miers like the one with the PhD but that doesn’t make his addition to my list any less important to me period
