Florida Jose Recipient of PPP Loan
Jose Mier inquiries have usually been about listings that have had some age to them. Perhaps a Jose set up a YouTube channel a few years ago or was one of those names in some old book. My searches have pretty much been “historical” in that sense. However, this latest Jose Mier internet search brought things closer to home and more current. The listing in question is from the FederalPay.org website and it concerns a Jose Mier in Hialeah, Florida who received a PPP loan in 2020.
PPP or paycheck protection program was established by the federal government in 2020 to help those whose businesses were affected by the coronavirus weather the “storm” of COVID and the shutdowns that accompanied it.
Our Hialeah Jose Mier received this loan of a little over $8,000 in May of 2020 from First Horizon Bank. The only other information I can glean about this Jose is that he is involved in “specialized freight” or trucking. What is interesting is the location. Hialeah, Florida has a very large Cuban population so I can guess with some certainty that this particular Jose Mier is of Cuban descent.
I can add his name to the list of other Cubans (mostly historical) that are part of my growing list of people with the name Jose Mier. He most likely will not realize he has been appointed a member is good standing of my list, but I welcome him nonetheless.
