Spanish Preceded English in America Though

 

As far as I can tell, there was no Jose Mier on the Mayflower when it landed at Plymouth Rock in 1620. There may have been a Jose Mier somewhere in America at the time since the Spanish had explored part of what would be the Western United Stated in 16th century. You never know. By the way, 2020 marks the 400th anniversary of the Pilgrims’ landing.
